Seventy-seven Indiana high school seniors, 39 boys and 37 girls, have been chosen as first-team Academic All-State by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, it was announced Tuesday. The Southwestern Elementary School gymnasium gave Bankers Life Fieldhouse a run for its money in decibel level Friday morning. Former SHS valedictorian developing acting career
Emily Scott is living her dream. The 2010 Shelbyville High School valedictorian is living in Los Angeles, writing scripts and finding jobs on camera as often as possible in Hollywood. She had a speaking role in the movie “A Kind of Murder,” which starred Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel, while completing an internship in Cincinnati. But it hasn’t always been an easy road. Drug Free youth council cleans up Shelbyville
A group of Shelbyville High School students were spotted bending over and picking up cigarette butts Friday morning as curious passengers in cars watched while driving by. TCHS earns Four Star status
A Shelby County school was one of 234 schools in Indiana to receive Four Star School status from the 2017-18 school year, the Indiana Department of Education announced Friday. Triton Central High School was named a Four Star School. It is the third time since the 2012-13 school year that the high school received that status.
