

Infamous Few raises toys for CASA
Infamous Few, a 501(c)3 charity motorcycle club, held a donation drive the last two weeks to collect toys and raise money to donate to the Shelby County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). They placed “every bit of a dozen” donation boxes around the county, and more in surrounding counties, said member Ryan Sweany. They took the full boxes to CASA Dec. 5.

Waldron FFA receives $1,000 donation
Farm Credit Mid-America donated $1,000 to the Waldron FFA at Wednesday night’s Shelby Eastern School Board meeting. “The chapter is looking at assisting the Agriculture Department in the venture of hydroponics as it will be a source for some students Supervised Agriculture Experience projects,” FFA Advisor Megan Platt said. “Generally speaking, we plan to save a majority of this donation so that in the future we have a cushion for any projects we wish to do but haven’t yet pl
