City officials and Indiana Grand Racing and Casino staff broke ground Thursday morning in celebration of the casino’s $32.5 million expansion. Kid Quill chosen for Soundcloud accelerator program
Kid Quill was named to the “First on Soundcloud” 2021 Artist Roster List. “First on Soundcloud” is an artist accelerator program the music platform debuted “focused on dedicated investment in co-creating each artist’s career milestones to help drive their long-term success,” according to a press release. SHS Band Director to retire after 34 years
After 34 years, Shelbyville High School Band Director Russell Smith will retire. “It was something that I’d always wanted to do,” Smith said. “I saw the impact my high school director had on kids. I went to IU, studied music education there and was lucky enough to get a job right out of college at Seymour.” “Seymour was a great place,” he said. “I learned a lot.
