Smallfelt joins Seniors Helping Seniors
Seniors Helping Seniors has announced that Ralanda Smallfelt has joined its team as the new Care Coordinator.
Smallfelt is well-known in the Shelbyville community and beyond through her work over the past several years with Shelby Senior Services. She holds an M.S. in Gerontology and has extensive experience providing services and support to older citizens and their families as they navigate the joys and challenges that accompany aging.
Seniors Helping Seniors office is in Shelbyville, Indiana, serving Shelby County, Johnson County, and the southeast side of Indianapolis. The agency is licensed with the State of Indiana to provide non-medical, in-home care services – including personal care, companionship, transportation assistance, housekeeping, and meal preparation along with other services – that allow people to comfortably and safely remain in their own home as they age.
Smallfelt’s experience, training and compassionate spirit make her particularly well-suited for the role of Care Coordinator, according to a Seniors Helping Seniors media release. Her wealth of knowledge about various agencies and the services they provide will be particularly valuable as families explore best options for their loved ones.
The public is invited to an open house to welcome Smallfelt to the team Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Seniors Helping Seniors office, 24 Howard Street, in Shelbyville.
